How about persistent shop prices in pantheon mode?

Prices fluctuate due to supply and demand.... this would effectively balance the items since the best will be expensive and the worst (or least popular) will be cheap. Only for items though. Prices on potions should be fixed. This would also force some players to check out items they never would've touched, as well as make the core gameplay more focused on strategic combat rather than who has the better item.

What do you guys think?

This has been mentioned in a different thread. If you've ever played Counter-Strike, they tried a simillar system for a while and it nearly ruined the game - the most useful items were the most expensive the least useful items were the least expensive punishing players for using items that were helpful to their strategy.

It's an interesting idea, however I can't personally see how it would work to the benefit of the game in Demigod.

well it would make players change builds, to adapt depending on the game mode / price.... would love to see those teleport scrolls 3k :O
