AI Difficulty - Change Default Difficulty

Is there a way to change it?

I enjoy playing with and against the computer a lot. Is there a way to change the difficulty to "hard" any other setting so when I want to fill the spots open in my game they will be that level I specify? I want to play against all "hard" or "insane" computers. This would be easier than placing each bot as "hard" or whatnot.
