Forum updates to e-mail

Is there a way to get forum updates in your e-mail?

Is there a setting somewhere so when people post in a thread I created or replied to, I get an e-mail?

If you have latest firefox or even internet explorer click on the rss button and it will auto tell you when there is a change to the discussion board

or get an external rss reader

I meant to forums I have subscribed to, the ones that show up in "My Posts" and "My Replies".
