Sins Forums
Has anyone tried this program? I think it is a replacement for the Galaxy Forge. I am cuious if the maps created with this program will be compatible with Sins and Entrenchment. There is a file that has to be overwritten "GalaxyScenarioDef.galaxyScenarioDef", I am not sure if this will cause Sins and Entrenchment to work properly.

You could create a backup copy of the "GalaxyScenarioDef.galaxyScenarioDef" file and then install the program, that way if it doesn't work you could replace the file with the backup, but a new install of Sins and Entrenchment would be a hassle if it didn't work. Whatever you feel is acceptable.....
The galaxyScenarioDef file contains templates for starting homeworlds, pirate base, etc. Usually it's modified to add new templates or modify existing ones (for example, adding a new race in a mod would need to have this file modified to add a default homeworld template for the race, otherwise it wouldn't start with a frigate factory or any constructors).
That said, I have no idea what "Deadly Forge" is supposed to be, where did you find it and do you have a link that explains what it's supposed to be for?
it is another galaxyforge type editor found here. I do not remember how I found it.
