If you could only play 3 games this year, what would they be?

  1. Demigod - Just because it's awesome, and the MP rocks.  It really needs no other explanation.
  2. Ghostbusters - This is one of my all-time favorite movies, so the chance to play as a Ghostbuster cannot be passed up.
  3. Battlefield 1943 - I'm a big Battleifled fan, and BF 1942 is one of my favorites, so this arcade style game looks appealing.

Hell yes man!  Generals was just...way too much fun!

 

I've always ended up disappointed with the original C&C line and I do enjoy Red Alert, but Generals always get a few dozen plays when my bro comes home heh heh :)

I think i'm in the minority when i say that the Generals series is my favorite of all the C&C games. Well up there with Red Alert 2 Retaliation.

I'm the same, both me and my brother still play alot of ZH.

C&C3 + Kanes were both dissapointments to me. Nothing i can really place my finger on, but after waiting so long for them to come out i guess i expected more.

They are fine, but just not the pinnacle i expected.

RA3 looks fantastic though....still looking to pick it up though.

(yes i am cheap! :P)

I have to agree with you. C&C3 was a disappointment, and personally, I don't think that RA3 was much better. It has some fun stuff, but something just seemed off. Plus, I refuse to support EA any longer. (I played it at a friend's).

I'm happy to GC2 getting a few mentions. It's nearing the end of it's patch cycle now but great to see it's holding it's popularity.

I think everyone is waiting for SC2, but i think it will be next year, or at the very least, just before xmas this year.

It better damn well be before Christmas....I know we've waited about 11 years already so what's another month right? But they have been talking about this game forever now...they should be close to done...have you seen those Battle Reports on their website...looks like a finished game to me :D ....not to rush them though :p

I really enjoy RPGs and story-driven games however I would beat them in well under a year so, for this scenario, I'll stick to games with high replayability.

Wow, that's a difficult decision. Umm...

1.) Team Fortress 2

2.) Killing Floor

3.) Dreamfall Chapters (release this year, please!)

I can't really decide if these would be sufficient, though. Well, those are my choices. Custom maps made by the community and future DLC ensure that Killing Floor won't ever get old, I still haven't gotten bored of the Team Fortress 2 map 2fort(and the DLC), and anything related to The Longest Journey is worth quite a bit of interest on my part.

I really wanna play a single-player game again, though. After I started up PC gaming a little over a year ago, I haven't been able to avoid multiplayer games, and they've prevented me from playing my single-player games. :( I personally love Tim Schafer/Sam & Max adventure games, though, and they are all on PC. Hm.
