Okay, here's what you do for this game: You have to "ban" the person who posted above you for an outrageous, silly, or funny reason. Got it?
Banned 'cuz I don't think that there are ANY LDS POLYGAMISTS.
However, there are quite a few FLDS POLYGAMISTS...
Banned because in Britain we have a cynical saying. There are two religions that it is fine to make fun of. Your own, and Christianity.
banned for Mormons are Christian, so they're free game!
And the polygs consider themselves the true Mormons, so it's all a matter of semantics.
Banned because Christian, as a unique identifier, is fast becoming useless.
Banned for thinking it was ever a unique identifier. The dude started out with twelve apostles, or thirteen, or eleven, depending on how you feel about Mary Magdalene and Judas Iscariot.
banned for it can still label you as a person who does or does not recognize him as Messiah. So it's a start.
Banned because the start of a category of categories still isn't a unique identifier.
Banned again because you're also denying the fact that there are plenty of 'secular Christians' in the world who claim the cultural identity with none of the theology. Although most of them in the US are pretty quiet about not buying the theology.
Banned because Christianity is so broad I don't really think there is a cultural identity that cannot also be explained as geographic (European, anglo-saxon, etc.)
banned for I don't think Christianity has a very tight link to cultural groups. I know that there is some overlap, but it seems more like cultural groups shape the religion than vice versa.
banned for maybe some denominations. Maybe all. Dunno. I'm not Christian by any measure, so I guess it doesn't bother me much.
