Okay, here's what you do for this game: You have to "ban" the person who posted above you for an outrageous, silly, or funny reason. Got it?

Banned because you clearly understand too much to actually be serious about your military conspiracy theory stuff.
Being able to thoughtfully distinguish officers from NCOs while considering gender politics means you can appreciate the fact that either group can gain status via corruption or honorable service. If you don't grok that yet, it's just a matter of time until you've read enough true and/or fictional stories about military orgs.
p.s. Janeway was definitly not my favorite Trek captain, but I ended up thinking rather better of her after watching Shatner's semi-wacky documentary on The Captains. The Sisko is the standout weirdo in that crowd.
The reason why I'm so anti-military is because I know so much about them. And they're not a conspiracy. Just an ideologically-motivated organization given waaaayyyyy too much free reign and respect by the public, the press, and the government. Sometimes they do things that a conspiracy would do, but not nearly enough to convince me that those actions are anything more than lucky coincidences- the reach required to pull them off deliberately would be unrealistically huge.

Gosh Scoutdog, you make it seem that the military is populated by people who are imperfect and not gods. Are you saying all I was taught about the military is wrong?
