You know, wherever I meet someone, either in real life or on the net (yes, the forums count too), I always try to figure them out, establish what kind of person they are, type of character...etc. I dont know, is it my natural curiosity? Is it just my type? I always do this for some reason.

Anyway,

Since you obviously seem different than the rest of the posters here (from the start), I tried to figure you out, of course. I have to admit, I couldnt really see right through you, but at some point I almost got it. Since you posted this, I just quoted above, I am absolutely sure (well as sure as I can be, from a forum he he ).

Xer07/koda0, You dont really try to be happy, and things just doesnt go your way, but instead, you WANT to be in that place. You want to be miserable. That kinda reminds me of Dr House. Anyway, you are afraid to take a chance, to risk a little, because you are too used to this. And I mean it. You are used to not being loved, not being cared about, and change seems a little frightening. You are really sensitive, and thats a rare quality, but its also your weakness. "Its a gift and a curse", he he. I could go on, but I need more clues to do that. Am I right about all this?

I want to ask 2 questions:

1. Why are you doing this to yourself? Dont you want to be with her? Arent you curious in how it would be?

and

2. What IF she secretely loves you, and she is afraid to tell you for the same reasons you dont tell her? I am just saying the typical "What if". Arent you curious about that? How can you be so sure about her? Dont you want to find out?

I guess the key word here is: "Risk". Yes it is a risk....

But you instead chose the safest path, and it really is the safe one. This way you can never hurt her, because the closer you get to someone, the easier it is to hurt them. Even if you dont want to, you just might. And trust me, if you do hurt her, its the worst pain you can feel. Its a lot better if you do everything right, but she actually hurts you, because then you dont have any regrets. You wont have the guilt to deal with. And trust me, guilt is the worst feeling of all.

Oh well, here I am blabering to you about all kinds of crap. He he didnt mean to get dragged in all this, but I just couldnt help it

Firstly: How did you manage to gather all of that off of me? I take pride in your saying I'm different, but I just find it a little... revealing that you found the chink in my armor and managed to peel it all off from there.

Secondly: I guess I am used to feeling hurt, and that I do fear change in my own way... for a considerable bit of my life* I've moved from place to place to place with my step-father, because he's military, so every time I got used to the environment of one area, we switched to the next... somewhere along the line I guess I gave up on true interpersonal relationships, forged the mask that I use today, and shut myself in.  Kinda reminds me of something my mom yelled at me about a week ago, "The only reason you're never happy wherever the hell we are is because you're not happy with yourself"! 

Thirdly: Yes, I want to be with her, and yes I'm curious to know what it would be like, but... haha, I guess in the end I lose either way, I either spill the beans and come out with it, or I keep it inside until she's no longer within my grasp... Even if it turns out happily ever after, I'd still feel guilty about it, because I've had to lie to her, and everyone else I know, to get here. But, we live in a world of lies, and people lie to survive...

Fourthly: I guess I'm going to go for it over the summer, if I can.  If it doesn't work out, I have a system in place for that, and if it does, maybe we can forget about all the pain in our past and finally move forward, into the future.

Finally: From what I can tell about you, Morpheas, is that you have a pre-set mood and personality for everyone and everything you encounter in your day-to-day life... but that's just my guess as of right now, I need to do some more looking...
