Sins not updating

Hey everyone just wondering if i could steal some time/wisdom from some of you people. I bought Sins of a Solar Empire (obviously) a while back and since then I've changed my hard drive because my old one died. So anyway i installed Sins and got impulse but when i try to update it it says that i must update my registration details. Fair enough, but when i do this it keeps saying that my cd key/ e-mail is wrong :/. All i want to do is play Sins/ buy the expansion! T_T. And yes they are the right details.

In Impulse click on the ? in the upper right. Look up your serial #. Once you get teh email, go back to the ? and choose the option to register.

I apparently dont have any products registered, I cant see how that can be.

You bought the disk at retail? Does it have teh serial # on it? And did you buy it in the UK?
