inqiry about using (older) WB themes?

is it safe to use WB themes created between 1999 - 2006? i assume during these time periods, there was no windows vista, thats what i have you see.

They will all work to a greater or lesser degree and WB will do it's best to make stuff fit . . but it is going to have issues with skins that don't have vista elements that it's looking for. Sorry
