George Carlin has stepped into it again, or so says WalMart. The mega retailer will not sell his new book in stores due to (this is alleged) the cover which depicts a modified painting of the last supper with George Carlin in it.

Now I am a religious person, but I found a link to the article on CNN, and I think the cover is a scream! As soon as I saw it I laughed. I have no idea what the book contains (When will Jesus Bring the Pork Chops), but knowing Carlin, it will be spiced with a lot of profanity, and very cutting wit.

I think I am going to put it on my Christmas list. I need a good laugh after this year! ;-)

Man, I love WalMart. It is so good to have them around to remind us just how silly it is when things get carried too far.

I suppose some may find it (the cover) offensive, but hey! It was just a painting by an artist (a great artist), and not a photograph from God!

See, Walmart has to remember that its a store. And stores sell things. Like bullets. Cuz those are less dangerous than a book cover.
