BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I'm guilty of comic book reading, but I'd say that I'm not nearly as extreme as the examples given... although, I do get occasionally fired up. I'm also a RPGeak, but I've been on the wagon for years... there is always a chance of falling off, though...

While I'm a fan of Star Wars and Star Trek, I can safely say that I haven't done any of the dress up/make believe mentioned in the article since before I became interested in getting laid, so I'm safely not in either group!

I used to watch a lot of Star Trek back in my potsmoking days. I even have an autographed cast picture of the TNG cast hanging on my living room wall. (I actually found it in a parking lot and it appraised for $500.00 so thats why i keep it)I gave up on Star Wars when i was 13 and the damn ewoks came along. I am not guilty of any of the other offenses. A lot of my friends play EverCRACK. Most of them are married, so they ain't gettin any for obvious reasons...

I for one would like to see a study about how friends of these people are affected by their friendship. I do not do any of these things, but my friends do. Constantly, I am a nerd by association.

Although it would depress me horribly, I would like to be able to put a ratio, or some sort of a percentage, on the amount of action I've missed out on because a hot chick saw me talking to one of them, and assumed I was one as well.

Still, good times, eh? Anyone else in here excited about the new Final Fantasy?
