Optimism Leads the Way

Life gives you many ups and downs. That's what the last five months have taught me. And for so long I've held to the belief that you cannot trust anyone to be there for you. But maybe that's not true. Maybe the lesson is that you need to count on people. Circumstances change. Hope can consume the soul. And those who stand beside you in the present may not be there in the future. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't hold them at arm's length. And maybe I'm just all of a sudden feeling optimistic... and maybe I've just made the biggest mistake of all time.

Only time can tell... oh, time.
