First of all, your post was an example of someone's hatred is out of control. You might suppose so, but how should that influence me? There will always be people who will say inflammatory things and it is generally protected as free speech. Are you sure that this is a good example of hatred?
the wad in your knickers.
May you have the problems I have Daiwa. Exactly what is your point? This columnist should mean what to me? As I indicated I consider all this nonsense of attacking someone's character and is this person qualified or not to have little relevance to me.
I want real employment. I want real health care. I want a real future. And in the current political climate it's going to be the same old garbage that has been taking place since the 1970's onward.
The US does nothing until it's too late. That is America's story. The problems New Orleans had were easily foreseeable. The mortgage market collapse of today was foreseeable. The continuing collapse of financial instituitions means that people are losing their savings as well. Retired people on fixed incomes have seen their purchasing power eroded as quickly as it did in the late 70's.
About a year and half ago I had a bus driver who makes about $12.50 an hour ask me what should he do about his retirement plan. He said he had lost about half it's value $25,000. He was about 60 years old. I told him it was too difficult of a question for me since it isn't my money. But, if it were, I would write off the losses and put everything into the safest government bond funds I could find. I have a feeling he has much less in his retirement plan today.
The sad part is that right now today there are people who are at a loss to know what to do. They've been told they have to save for their own retirements and so many of them have had to watch those savings dissapear. They thought they had $100,00 in their retirement account as of 2 years ago and today they only have $20,000 in their account even though they've continued to have payroll deductions going into it.
Those are real problems. I mention this not as an attack on you Daiwa nor am I implying you can't see these as examples of real problems. I brought this up because I think this year people will go to the polls and vote based on their real problems and who they think understands their problems and will do something about it.
And no, I don't think this web columnist's poor use of free speech is a very good example of hatred. And that link quite clearly showed Fox News as the source of the video regarding this web columnist. Although I haven't checked, it would not surprise if that web site were affiliated with Fox as well.
