Mountain Rufuge

Good Morning Everyone,

 

This morning I will be leaving for the Mountain Refuge for the week. I will return on Saturday for a friend's Bat Mitzvah which promises to be a wonderful experience. Yesterday's Introduction to Jewish Spirituality was quite amazing.  We have a variety of students with a number of differing backgrounds.  Such things almost always lead to deeper and more thought-provoking discussions. Then on Sunday, after the Academy, I will return to the Refuge.

 

While there I will not be online, but I will go into town where there is a hotspot and post a morning message from there every couple of days, I suspect.

 

At the very least, our daily practice should include a morning meditation period and an evening meditation period.  We should also practice to acknowledge our blessings, those good things that come our way, beautiful views, beautiful sights, our friends and loved ones, our food and drink, and so on.
