Weather not updating

Feed Not Available - Try again later.

version 1.90, build 536, with Firefox V2, and Comcast.

Windows firewall turned off and no other change to any computer setting with the exception of installing OD version 1.90.  Weather displayed correctly for about 1 week, now it will not update.

Was looking to upgrade at some point...but things like this make me second guess the thought.

Any troubleshooting advice would be appreciated.

I've been using the free version since December here in SC.It's always updated for me.Have you tried dragging the docklet off, closing OD then restarting OD and replacing the weather docklet?

The free version has a problem whit some locations.  it's been resolved for the paid beta version and the free version will get some love after it's released.

In the meantime you can 1) do without; 2) find a city that is 'close enough'; or 3) upgrade.

The upgrade is worth it for good weather feeds and teh tabs are over the top.

The weather docklet seems to be reluctant to work in the free version, yet it happily agrees to show us SOMETHING in the plus version.....hmmm....I wonder if that's the first step towards Artificial Intelligence amongst docklets...

Well Wizard....tried your method, including a computer restart and restarting OD....it's a no-go.

Zubaz...selected a close enough city - Seattle - it is still a no-go. Upgrading? Nope. I wonder if this "lack" of weather support is a ploy to get others to upgrade? Hmmmmm......

I guess I'll live without in the absence of a temporary fix. Thanks for the replies.

Nope, they went thru some growing pains with weather locations, and it is normal for the free version to be upgraded only after the paid version is released, it is still in beta.

Understand all.

But out of the freakin' blue...it's working now. I did what was recommended above with no results, then log off (not shut down) my computer. Log back on several hours later....it works.

Perhaps PFM is at work!

Still...everyone, thanks for the replies.
