game is too fast

I just purchased the game.  Everything visually goes too fast.  How do you slow the game down?

You can change the speed the battles play out at. during the battle you can click where it says "2x" or whatever until you get the slower speed you want.

Other thn that, i don't know what you can be seeing that moving fast. Generally nothing is moving, except maybe ships on the map.

Planets and ships spinning out of control is most generally due to the use of an Athlon 64 x2 CPU without updated CPU drivers. If this the case with your machine, download and install the AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 Dual Core Processor Driver for Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 Version (x86 and x64 exe) file found at the bottom of this page.
