sharing preferences between users?

Hi all.  I'm actually a Windows newbie, so this might seem like a bit of an ignorant question but...how do I set up the default user account so that when a new user logs into the computer, they have the same objectdock settings as the default user?  I am a teacher and I want the students logging into the classroom computer to have the same objectdock setup (appse, location, etc.), but I don't want to recreate those settings for each student.  Right now, when they log in, objectdock does start, but with none of the customization that I set up on the default account.  I have followed the directions on the Microsoft website in recards to creating the default user profile and copying it to the Default User folder in the Documents and Settings folder.  I have also changed the Permitted to Use setting to everyone for the profile.  Along with that question, I can't get the desktop image setting to hold for new accounts as well.  I don't know if I've placed the custom desktop image in the wrong place or what.

I am running windows xp pro.

Thanks for any help on this.  I've been working on it for weeks trying to figure it out on my own.

not sure it's easily done. Not to worry if it is some one will point it out after I post..

I just tried copying my =
C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local Settings\Application Data\Stardock\ObjectDock

and put it in:
C:\Documents and Settings\My Kid\Application Data\Stardock

but that didn't work

ODock is setup to be accessible by all, but it's also setup to be customized by each

I'm guessing the systems at school are set up son one user can't access another users folders and such

Possibly.....

If the backgrounds and images were located in a shared folder 1st and then you saved your theme - default for theme .ini is: C:\Program Files\Stardock\ObjectDock\Themes

then all they would have to do is load the theme which should then be able to read the location of the various graphics and such in the shared folder (maybe)

I was able to load up one of my previously saved themes from my kid's side - but our folders aren't locked from each other - the only issue was various icons had been moved to another location in between saving the theme last year and applying today, so I got the default question mark icon

then again, you might need to send an email to support

C:\Documents and Settings\My Kid\Application Data\Stardock
End of quote

I meant

C:\Documents and Settings\My Kid\Local Settings\Application Data\Stardock

lost the edit button and putting it in the address didn't work
