Do I have to get more programs, can you say me which if I have to?

Those aren't programs to make themes persay (with the exceptions of SkinStudio and IconDeveloper), those are programs to apply themes.

What specifically are you trying to do?

I want to make theme like i'm downloading on this site.

all the desktopx themes were made one piece at a time - the skinner created the graphics, included any need scripts, etc


basically you can start by designing a 'layout' in paint, paint.net, gimp, PSP, PS, whatever

cut out the various parts

start putting them together

when done, save the theme

first .. you decide what you want to theme. Icons? Window blinds? Dexktopx? etc. Then you use programs like paintshop pro, gimp,etc to build the graphics for what you want the skin to look like and do. Then you assemble the images within the program you are trying to build a theme for.

Example: You design the Images for a window blinds . Cut them up in to the pieces necessary for each section of the WB theme. Then you would use SKS to assemble the images in to a working WB theme. When done you would use WB to apply the theme to your windows.

( the whole process is actually very much more detailed than the example here. This is but a generalization of the major steps to building a WB, each having many smaller steps along the way)..

Also it would help if you actually signed up, instead of using Bugmenot's site where you can get login username's and passwords. Anyway, you need to design it first with any Photo editing software, free ones are Paint.NET, and GIMP, there maybe some other but them ones are the ones I have had experience with, then you need to cut them up and then use a program such as SKS to make them into a theme, then save it as either .theme, .desktopx, .desktop, .wb etc! and then upload it to here using an account specifically for you!
