Cringe in fear do gooders. The G.R.O.S.S. (Get Rid Of Slimy alienS) empire is now formed. In less than an hour we have jumped 95 other Pacifist Doo Gooder victim empires and lept into 40th out of 135 ranked.

We are an evil empire bent on controlling everything and showing all the other empires out there who's boss. US. Are you listening Euro-"Oh lets let everyone be a senator and give em a vote doo gooder democracy alliance?" We come for you.

For a limited time, (untill I decide otherwise) 5 Pure Evil games, (or just impressing me with your game evilness) submitted will get you a Senatorship. Later, being the evil empire pyramid scheme we are, it will take 10. Of course, being the evil empire we are, that gives you no benefits, no pay, but all the alien carnage you crave most.

Now we do realize that sometimes, you just have to fake being good. You sometimes just have to infiltrate that pacifist party. We understand. But we aren't a kinder gentler empire and don't let their pacifism go to your head. And just sometimes, you gotta let the Aliens live (where else would you find slaves for the heavy metal lava mines?)

In the future, we shall update each other in the empire via this thread, brag of our conquests, drink blood wine, and generally just poke fun (creatively and humorously) at those players whom we find to be too goody goodyish.

Our mottos.

I’ve taken the liberty of fitting the Survey Ship of Doom with an anti-ANZAC EMC device. Whenever a sheep or drop bear is detected, the survey ship will launch multiple ‘Free Beer This Way’ signs. That should distract them long enough to get our ship out of range.

Well, we'll just have to get our pets so drunk that they can't read your signs anymore. Too easy. The only way to be safe from our pets is to jettison your entire cargo of alcohol and run for your lives. Light beer doesn't count, btw.

Bah, I don't know about the rest of the crew, but I am no light beer type of guy. You will find no such thing in my quarters!

It's another day of battle in the Metaverse neighborhood. Our worthy but desperate MWC rivals are finding that fingernails are not made of very durable material. Hanging by a thread, if you will, with about a 2500 point lead. Way too close of a ballgame to call.

I don't think there's any light beer in my fridge, even my wife drinks dark beers.

Speaking of wives, do any of you white council wizards have a charm to make wives understand the benefits of computer gaming, science fiction, role playing, or Monty Python?

The one breakthrough was she was entertained by the Geek Test I found on one of the threads. We discovered I problem, I scored 47% and she scored 6%, most of that 6% being movies I've inflicted on her.

I thought I was sneaky by playing on my laptop, but she claims I ignore her when I do... I definitely need something more powerful than a polymorph spell... :D

Wow. We're back in the lead. You guys have been going like Gangbusters!!!! How long we remain there, who knows.

I had agreed with Staffa in principle over the game degeneration but thought it wouldn't amount to much. Now I see it really does cost a couple of thousand points. Oh well. Plug on.

Well, Cotal, it is a lovely new day because the server crashed for that long while. But welcome to Threadzilla.

Maybe those adjusted engines worked too well. The server repair guy's briefing: "GROSS broke the speed limit in the Metaverse, thus puncturing a rift in space-time. If this rift is not fixed, a huge range of complications is possible. There is already a massive communications disruption. There could be a lot of unexplained and improbable events, moments of the past could replay themselves, you might see some future events, or, worse case scenario, the rift will grow and grow until the entire Metaverse is destroyed." :)

Just had my best game yet by far 8650!! compaired with 1132 as my highest before. Starting to get the hang of this now

Another 5000 points added to the glorious GROSS empire to keep the dirty Mid-Western alien lovers below the onlt true Empire where they belong (spit).

In other news, ralegh and I finished version 1.0 of the strategy guide. Contains a few viruses to make players generally more evil and GROSS like (just kidding). This was a lot of work so hopefully people will like it. We submitted it to the Orion sector, it should get posted within a day or so. I'll let you all know the URL.
