doh - well I look silly

Texas - I haven't seen the movie or read the book - but I do know the song Kate Bush "Heathcliffe it's me I'm Cathy I've come home I'm so cold let me in to your window"

Joey - I only vaguely remember Schindlers List - but yay we're the same

Not at all. My cut and paste job didn't quite work, so I had to edit my reply. You must have seen it between the original comment and the edit. Sorry.

Did anyone see MTV's Carmen a Hip-Hopera ??? Beyonce, Mekhi Phifer & Mos Def

They're made a remake of Wuthering Heights in 2003 with ... teens

it was remade in 1970 with Timothy Dalton and again in 1992 with Juliet Binoche & Ralph Fiennes and made into miniseries and tv movies numerous times including for British tv in 1998

Abd I've still never seen it

What Classic Movie Are You?
personality tests by similarminds.com

I'm Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark
Wow I'm so exciting!

Wuthering Heights... I'd like to see that but I think I'd want to read the book more. The Juliet Binoche-Ralph Fiennes version would be good I reckon.

How do I always get suckered into taking these things?

Anywho... Wuthering Heights, one of my all-time favorite movies. To you poor souls who have not yet seen it, get thee to a video rentery.

Does this mean I am going to freeze to death on a moor madly calling out for the long departed love of my life?

Probably.

"Take me to the window. Let me look at the moors with you once more, my darling. Once more."

The original one has the "scaring the shit out of me capacities" equaled only by non other than "The Exorcist." *shudders*

What a neat test! I'm Apocalypse Now.
If anyone sees Wuthering Heights, I'd sat see the old, original version. Nothing like it. If I were to pick my own, I'd say I am Now Voyager.

Out of all of these "classic" movies I've seen two (I think - I can't remember if I saw Indianna Jones Raiders of the Lost Ark - I saw one in grade 8 or 9 History class it had something to do with Egypt because that was the unit we were studying)

However I did read Easy Riders, Raging Bulls: How the Sex-Drugs-and-Rock 'N' Roll Generation Saved Hollywood by Peter Biskind -- It was about all those directors at the time they did those movies - Scorscese and taxi driver, Lucas/Coppola with Finnegands Rainbow, what's his name - Dennis Hopper and Easy Rider -- their drugs, marriages, spousal abuse, the manson family, childhood, friendships and the fights, - It was a good read anyway - very interesting.

(I'd previously read Robert Evans autobiography The kid stays in the picture -- some of the same things are touched on - it's interesting to note the differences)

Gene - You crack me up - I don't think you're destined to wander the moors -- we have Electricty and jumpers now

Nicky - from what I know about you from your blogs and comments on others blogs Easy Rider - You just want to maintain a calm, cool and comfortable environment -- fits you -- not sure about the actual movie fitting.
I don't think the actual movies would suit any of us. Nazi Germany, Teegs as an archaelogist who gets into dangerous situations, vietnam war, mafia -- well who knows

Thanks for playing guys
