Hey everybody! This is our Jefferson School Fifth Grade blog. Here, you will get a chance to write your opinions on all different subjects, and they will be automatically posted on the web. You and your classmates will read each other's blogs and then post responses to the ideas they expressed. By doing this, we will become better thinkers and writers as we learn to consider other people's points of view as we express ourselves.

Mr R, are you restricting your class to reading only each other's articles?  I am asking because there are a lot of blogs that are flagged that have language I know, as a parent, I wouldn't want my 5th grader reading.

BTW, I think it is a great idea and learning to put together an essay is one of the most important things a kid can take away from their school experience and use for the rest of their lives no matter what course in life they pursue.
