I do Haiku. Do you?

My first try actually...

We meet. I'm in awe
You are the girl of my dreams
Every day gets better

You love like a child
So indescriminately
Sweet like chocolate

Blossoms on the path„Ÿ

the tea-master dons his robe;

embers glow for guests.

Piglet squeals of play

reverberate rice terraces„Ÿ

mud-rumped father smiles.

On iced winds slides the hail;

schoolboys play on mothers' love„Ÿ

ill, they moan in Noh.

Wing to wing wild ducks

till the thermal cloud bellows„Ÿ

baking them in flight.

Long nights bend their ears„Ÿ

under sympathy's quilt„Ÿ

to caged dreams and fears.

Snow, desolate, still,

sighs for plum blossoms as

temples chant for birth.

I have web_poet to thank for inspiring me to write a few haikus... but steve, I think i'll have to try and crank out a few totally random/cryptic ones after that contribution of quality work Thanks!

I kind of see a patter here, but what exactly is the definition of Haiku?

I love randomness, it's awesome and confusing.

BAM!!!

Here ya go, Muggaz:

Haiku-poems consist of respectively 5, 7 and 5 syllables in three units.

Here's a link that explains it better than I ever could:

For now:

many famished rivers
joining the mighty ocean
many becomes one.

full moon night
placid lake water
lo,the wind and thousand pieces.

dark thundering clouds
all pitch dark
lightning suddenly pierces the darkness.
