Damn Internet Addicts are going Cold Turkey...
Holy Stagnation Batman!

I am bored, un-excited, lacking inspiration, and I blame this article from the esteemed Little Whip!
Judging from the lack of atmosphere on the site at the moment, it would appear that it was a real eye opener. I have drawn the personal conclusion that some people on the forums actually went out and got lives because they felt guilty! Maybe they called some ‘real’ friends, or attended to some nagging duties they have been putting on hold… Some people are probably relishing the break!!!
The fact that I am now bored and un-inspired with the lack of interaction taking place at the moment, only confirms that I also have the life of an Internet addict… but maybe it’s not so sad…
Blogging about blogging is sometimes construed as taboo… The fact remains though, that I find blogging inspiring, and the whole point of blogging is sharing opinions, and perspective. From my vantage point, blogging is sucking right now.
It’s sucking, because I am an internet addict, I crave the day to day interaction with people across the globe… I want to know what other people think of this, and I want to tell people what I think of that.
I am really missing the opinions and articles of established regulars at the site, and I guess it feels a little stale… I almost want someone to start a fight, so I can defuse it!!! How sad and pathetic is that!
Right now, the most interesting conversation happening at JU involves a teenage love triangle… whilst captivating, I can watch that crap on TV when I get home from work in some cheesy American soapie… Or if you love gaming, or moreso, reading about gaming, JU is the place to be...
Is it too much to ask for a little mental stimulation? I have an awesome life as an internet addict… I am fortunate enough to work with computers, and I am also blessed with the great skill of multi-tasking, I can fulfil my addiction, without suffering the symptoms as described by LW in her article.
LW is totally correct though – If you suffer from any of these symptoms at all, I think you really need to pack up your computer, and initiate the Windows solution (throw it out the window)
No one denies that this can happen to many people, obviously LW and other users here… but why do we think it happens? What would we have done before the internet?
Addictions are only defeated cold turkey… I hope JU doesn’t go all cold turkey on me… i'm probably just being selfish
Talk about peer pressure at it's finest
BAM!!!
