Custom rules for humans only?

Hello,

I only wanted to know if it is at any rate possible to create a custom set of rules that applies to the human player only. Yeah, I know, it's somewhat like cheating... but it's fun also, and I never submit scores anyway LOL
So, I would be grateful if anyone could tell me a way to do this.

Well you can create a Tech tree with an AI value of 0.

If you put what you really want behind 0-valued techs, the AI is not very likely to research that.

I discovered that when i was tinkering around with my Monstrous Mod. When i put a few techs behind Advanced DNA Research, the AI would not research those techs at all, or only very late in the game.

How could I manage to do that? I know how to create Techtrees, but I don't get how to assign ability boni to them. Where are those stored?

Use GalCiv Writer (old version). It's very easy to use and self-explanatory. With this you can mod almost everything in the game:
