where was I going with this?

Yo-Yo Ma's Buha, is such a great background song for how I feel right now....reflective and calmly apprehensive. It's kind of funny to me that I got more comments on my flow of consciousness piece than I did on my Nostalgia piece. I spent much more time thinking about what I was going to write in the Nostalgia poem, but perhaps it just didn't generate enough thoughts worth sharing.

I'm beginning to think that maybe too many people know about my blog, perhaps I'm not anonymous any longer, and perhaps that's for the best. Then people who I write about will know how I really feel about them. Though, wanna-be poets always write encripted words anyway right?

I wish I had an ongoing thing like Miguna's "Friday Five." Link They're great because they don't necessarily demand serious answers, but even if you pour you heart into your response it's just as appreciated as if you were just a smart ass. But try as I might (which I haven't) I can't really think of anything that would be so popular among JU's. Which is dumb for me anyway since I am very pleased with the humble community of readers I have and those who I read.

Eventually I hope to do an article on the permission slips we need to hand out to parents so kids can play Magic The Gathering at our program. but the whole topic just kind of depresses me too much to have any motivation to think about it right now....so I suppose you're all really looking forward to that one.

More poetry on the way, less rambling and ranting.

suspeckted, i only just saw this article, but thankyou for the mention and the link .

i got the friday five idea from a friends' website, and he got it from someone elses' !. i think it works because everyone likes to dream sometimes. i love reading the answers and i get surprised without fail every friday. having said that though, sometimes it damn near boils my brain trying to think of 5 questions that such a diverse range of people might be able to relate to !. little_whip has saved my butt this week by suggesting a "fantasy partner" friday five and i've already started thinking about it, so start imagining your ideal woman hehe.

it would be great to have you do another regular article. actually, i had considered doing a "he said/she said" blog with a male blogger involving a set of "sticky" questions and a male/female opinion, and then ask readers who is "right", so to speak. but despite all my noise i am a very private person and have yet to approach or ask anyone. but i guess that's an offer, if you're interested.

i can't actually give you an email address as i had a small problem once with a naughty blogger sending me dirty emails and i don't want it seen hehe, but if you'd like to leave one here in a comment i'd be happy to outline what i'm thinking. and no matter if not, of course.

thanks for putting me on your favoutites list. you'd be on mine if i had one

Mig, if you ever want help with a question or two I'd be happy to attempt one. I would be interested in the he said/she said blog, but I worry that I may not represent the male population very well.....I don't watch sports, don't really like action movies and could give a rats ass about guns or sports cars........good god, do I have any testosterone? I can appreciate your worry about the dirty emails bummer.

Anyway, keep me posted on this assignment.
Thanks,
