No background MP3 music

Strange, I cannot seem to hear *any* of the background MP3 music that should be there... I've tried restoring the MS MP3 codecs, nothing happened. The sound effects work, but background music doesn't. I wonder why is that, and is there a way to fix it?

Do you have User Defined Playlist on? If so, turn it off. You only need that turned off if you're using a playlist that you created.
