Life gets dirty. The management of a household, no matter how big or small, entails a never-ending cycle of chores. Sit down together and draw up a list of jobs for each of you. Some couples divvy up the workload by assigning one spouse all outdoor chores, while the other handles the work inside the four walls of the house. Others like to share chores inside the house and out. Determine what works best for you.
Don't become resentful when your spouse leaves something undone. Do the task cheerfully and don't make a big deal of it. Make a conscious effort to maintain a proper heart and attitude, serving each other lovingly.
