I wonder how my boy is doin. He looks great! I got pictures last night and he looks happier than ever. I think his mom and step-dad even got his front tooth fixed. (it was chipped, and not very attractive) His clothes look like they aren't way too small, either. The time I was on the phone with him a couple weeks ago I didn't hear his mom or step-dad yell once. All I could hear, besides he's small sweet voice, was his baby brother giggling and making noises once in a while. This next "poem" if you want to call it that is dedicated to RJ. I miss you, sweetie!
Has someone told you you're beautiful today? Has anyone taken your hand and told you they loved you, yet? Do you know someone cares? Your clear green eyes are beautiful. Everything about you is. You give and don't recieve. You're the reason karma doesn't exist. You're gunna be a world changer someday. Follow Jesus and your heart.
You push away as I draw near, but can I blame you? That's all you've ever known. Do you know how special you are?
Do you look in the mirror and love what you see and who you are, because others do? Or have you only been taught hate?
Don't let the bitches of this world bring you down, no matter how much you love them. Don't let them steal your joy no matter how much they disappoint you, deep down.
I see your smile. You're a person with feelings, a person who needs love. I want to be there to give it--I want to be there so you know someone loves you. I hope you're being loved.
