Problems: 1)Still no metaverse, 2) Drengin sound problems still exist

Nothing I submit shows up in the Metaverse.
I've read the forums and understood where mistakes are made in submitting. I've typed my Registered Player Name (not GalCiv.com registered name) into the 'Enter you Alias' text box. I've read over the forums time and time again but, still, nothing has been able to help me out.
1) I haven't been able to submit since the game first hit the floors. Just as a matter of fact: I've had to buy two copies of the game. The first was stolen, but I had to have the free upgrade which required a new serial number).
I am sitting behind a nicely protected firewall but most 'gaming' ports are open.
2) Secondly, I've re-installed XP twice since I owned the game and I still get major distortion when I Trade with The Dregin Empire. I've downloaded the Microsoft encoding/decoding package that is available in Downloads. Certain codecs are installed onto my OS so I can view my own videos.
It doesn't directly affect game-play but it is starting to affect my trade with the DE. It's a real pain in the ass to always have pitch the sound down!
