Can you hear me tonight when I cry out your name with loneliness,
do you hear me when my tears crash around my cheeks as I look for you,
when my heart aches with every thought of what we may be losing,
as I wish I could just turn back the steps I traced and walk them again.

As I wait in anticipation just to see your name appear across my screen,
to laugh with you for just a while,
to be able to once again say "hello my friend how was your day",
is something I miss, the warmth, the friendship.

Fire burns deep down inside my soul,
yet you'll never ever know,
the ache that creeps at my body whole,
as I wait so see your name and hope we'll once again be as we were.

As you lay alone watching the ceiling above,
do you even ponder on how much I may just love,
does it tweak at your heart when you think upon my name,
I should maybe now let you go but inside my heart you shall always remain.

It's amazing how well OTHER people are able to sum up the torrent of emotions going through my head. I'm keeping a copy of this on my PC from now on... you put it all so well!

It's sad to think so many people feel what I have felt but if I can make one person see themselves in it then my job is done.

probably not anon it's an old one that's been sitting in my files, I wrote it for *Kisses* and yes it does keep a sadness wrapped around it.

Thank you and know that those emotions do eventually start to fade but writing your thoughts and emotions no matter how mumbled tend to help the process, at least I find.
