I'm still bored at work and no-one's playing with me... so I'll start:

How many pints do you drink each night/each week? I used to drink a lot (a fucking hell of a lot) - now it's rare and I've thankfully managed to avoid binge drinking at weekends after the weeking work is done. phew.

And how many people have you slept with in your life? How many in one night even? etc? I wish I hadn't asked this now, I've been sitting here trying to work it out and I'm surprised by how foggy my memory is, but prob. 20+ - I don't think that I'll answer the second part of that question.

How many cigarettes do you smoke a day? Again, I'm much better than I used to be... back in the 3 lighters a day phase of my life. So, maybe 5 - 10 (this is me in 'giving up' phase)

What was your favourite age? 15, closely followed by 24 but for completely different reasons (8 kicked ass too, but there's no point in me missing it cause apparently I'm still stuck at that age)

How many different types of recreational drugs have you tried? 5 (6 including alcohol)

How many countries have you travelled to? Come on rusty memory banks... Spain, Greece, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Turkey, Australia, USA, England, Wales and Scotland - 11 I think?

alcohol - none - I've had maybe 5 midori/lemonade's and a sip or two of someone else's drink since I turned 18 (legal in Aus) - it's not a morality thing - I don't think drinking's bad or anything I just won't drink anything I don't like the smell of - which is why I'll occasionally drink midori - it smells nice

partners - 1 (husband) - no I didn't wait until my wedding night, no I wasn't forced into marrying him because we got pregnant

cigarettes - 0 - I had lots of relatives who smoked with smokers cough who died of lung cancer and smoking related illness - but that wasn't the main reason - again it's the smell.

favourite age - um I'm 21 -- I think my favourite was 17 but I didn't know it at the time - I wish i could go back to 17yo trina and say psst here's a heads up do this differently

Countries - 0 - I've never been on a plane - I don't even know if I'm afraid of flying --- never tried - I'd LOVE to go to Italy and my husband would love to go to France.

alcohol - used to be a lot but now only weekends....somewhere between 6 - 15 beers on a weekend night

Hmmm...I don't drink every night, and when I do I never have more than 3 or 4...so I suppose if you averaged it out it'd be about one drink a week.

And how many people have you slept with in your life? How many in one night even? etc? Not telling how many, but I will tell you that's it's never been more than one person at a time/in one night.

What was your favourite age? I'm 35 today, and I have to say that being 30-something has been the best age thus far.

That's very true.  I have a vanilla kind if life now, and I'm happy with it. But, Dev, you've done and are doing some remarkable things with your life.....

Alcohol: i rarely drink... never had more than about 3 standard drinks in one night (never been drunk, can't say if i've been tipsy because i get really excited when i go out and i act silly naturally.... tee hee)

Sexual partners: none, i'm waiting for the big day, er, night?

Smoke: i've never tried cigarettes and don't want to, but i've had the misfortune of passively smoking several packs over the course of my life

Favourite age: 14 or 15 was great; this year of my life is giving it a run for its money though (i'm 21 now)

Muggaz - A cigarette in the morning with my coffee - your'e a man after my own heart: I've pretty much cut down to half of what I used to smoke, but I'll be damned if I give up that coffee and marlboro duo!

Ooh, here's a question for ya' if you could have one prefect cigarette anywhere in the world, where would it be?

Cause, I'm thinking: sitting on a pile of cusions, crosslegged, wrapped in a patchwork blanket, on a dune, in the middle of the desert at night with sparling diamond stars sweeping across an ink black sky, and camels groaning and snoring in the distance next to my tent, the door of which is gently flapping in the breeze and letting warm candle light spill onto the sand outside - and the smoke would spiral up into the air from my lit cigarette and gently twist towards the moon like a grey spectre going home.

Back in a bit... I'm off for a smoke! (not that i was salivating at the thought or anything??!)

Drinks - About 6 or 7 pints if I'm drinking, which is once or twice a week. This renders me a babbling idiot so I really shouldn't have that last beer. If only I could control myself!

Sexual partners - 10 1/2 - Yes. There's a half point. It's a long story.

Cigarettes - variable. Generally don't smoke during the day at all, unless I'm having a bad one. At night I'll have anywhere between 1 and 20 (definitely dependent on drinking!)

Favourite Age - 19. The year I did everything - moved out, got a car, started uni, started gigging with my band, got dreads. I thought I was pretty cool! (Sad that I wasn't! Oh well)

Recreational Drugs - 4 plus alcohol But drugs aren't cool, man.

No, your'e not getting away with that one Floozie... what's the half-point for? Enquiring minds want to know...

*Deep breath* A good, male friend of mine ended up crashing with me in my bed one night following large amounts of drinking. It was 5 in the morning or something by the time our heads hit the pillow. Memory of even getting in to bed is scant, but I know that I was wearing knickers and a singlet top. My mate, I assume, would have been wearing boxers, however we have found him stark naked, passed out on our couch before so I think he kind of needs to sleep in his birthday suit (need may be the wrong word, but anyway)

Now he's a mate. There has never, ever been any form of romantic interest from either party. We have never fooled around. He's crashed in my bed a few times, he's like a brother. Which makes the rest of this even grosser.

So I wake up the next morning and to my horror we appear to be having sex in the spooning position. I'm about to jump out of bed and yell 'What the f**k is going on?' but my (now much closer) friend beats me to it.

'OH GOD! What's happening?'
'What do you mean what's happening. What were you doing?'
'What was I doing? What were YOU doing?'
'I'm not the one with the penis. What the f**k were you doing?'
'Were we just having sex?'
'Urgh. I think so'
'How?....I'm....huh?'
Basically, to this day, neither of us can figure out how it all happened. And before anyone suggests it, it wasn't him raping me, then making out that he didn't know what was going on. He couldn't even have been aware that I was awake when he screamed out his horror as I was facing away from him.
I have spoken to couples who say that they have both woken up having sex with neither party aware of how it occurred. It had been a long time between drinks for us both, so we reckon our bodies took over while our minds were distracted.
The reason it is counted as a half point is because neither of us went into it with the intention of sleeping with the other, nor did we finish the act.
There we go - one of my more embarassing sexual moments. He and I now refer to it as the situation we don't talk about.

And we no longer share beds!

citizenships:
I was born in New Zealand but moved to Australia at age 2. Because of the close relationship between the two countries I could live and work and travel as if I was an Australian citizen. So, out of sheer laziness I just never bothered and then one day I decided I really should become an Australian citizen as well. But before doing so I found out I could get Irish citizenship through my grandmother, at the time it seemed like I may need to go there to work and as an Irish citizen I have access to the whole EU. So I did that and then finally got Australian citizenship. I hold all 3....maybe that makes me a citizen of the world.

I'm glad you were friends enough to not get paranoid about how it happened.

I call it 'sleep fucking', but it's only ever happened to me when I've been with my current bf and it's the best thing in the world. I was really shocked the first time that it happened - I only half woke so I was dreaming whilst still aware of all the physical stuff (great combination). I decided it must mean that we were truly meant for each other and madly in love because even when we were sleeping we still wanted to f**k.

Maybe it just means that you and your mate are the bestest of buddies

We are really close (even though I'm now 12,000 miles away from him) and we know that when we're old and grey we can say that we always had that night

It was funny when he met his current girlfriend as she was really threatened by me and asked if we'd ever been involved. Needless to say he didn't tell her this story - a little hard to explain to a new comer!

My bestfriend lives hundreds of miles away too and I miss him like crazy. We've been apart for two years now, which really gets me down after spending literally nearly every single day together (and night - thanks to my insomnia and his alcoholism - the dysfunctional duo!)

We've been on the phone recently talking about how it's utterly pointless being so far apart... so we're hatching a very grand plan which involves him, me and my bf all leaving the lives we have right now, so that we can all be together. What's the point in being so far away from the people that make you smile?

Awww.... That's so wonderful! I could go back home and be closer to him, but I think I need my time in the big, bad world on my own for a while. And it will make the return so much sweeter!

In about a year maybe? Once we've worked some more in our current jobs... I've been in the big bad world long enough to know that there ain't many people like him in it!
