HELP-this is weird

started to play with the map editor. What I want it to do is create a random map that I can add a few things here and there. I tell it to randomize stars, planets & resources-then I go in and add the few things I want. BUT, when I go to play the game, the number of 15+ planets is very small and the yellow stars do not alway have a 15+ planet - what am I missing?

The map editor doesn't follow the rule that yellow and purple stars have to have good planets in them.  This was so that people could make maps with hidden good planets.  Also, it really is random as far as planet class distribution.  It doesn't have the code that Gal Civ does to ensure that there are a certain number of good planets.

So after setting up your random galaxy, you should go through and look at the various planets in the systems and make changes as necessary.
