This happens every time you play against Evil Aliens races.

I have all the evil races set to morons.

The Fundamentalist take over a huge section of the galaxy.

The Fundamentalist should also be morons.

but

I can not keep up with these guys they have researhed the Overlord Battleship while the best I can do is a battlehammer.

I research one technology and they have 10 technologies !!
