Cannot upgrade mining starbases with arceans

With the Arceans I cannot upgrade the mining starbases past Mining Barracks with any of the techs that allow for starbase mining improvements. Do not know if this is exclusively an Arcean problem as I did not have a chance to try with either Terran or Drengin.

Using .083[b].000.

I fixed a similar bug where Arcean ship designs were not showing up.  I have tested building mining starbases on a resource and am able to build mining modules beyond Mining Barracks, so it may be fixed.

Do you have a saved game where this is occurring?  If so, please zip it and send it to [email protected].

So I think I found the source of the problem.

The Arcean tech tree does not have an entry for Xeno Engineering in their tech tree. This makes it impossible for them to build a MiningCenter, which in turn is needed for everything beyond the MiningBarracks.

You're right about the missing Xeno Engineering in your game.  It looks like you started the game with the older version of the beta.  Please begin a new game.  The Arceans should have Xeno Engineering if you restart a new game.

I've only ever used a single version of the beta (0.83[b].000). The save that I sent you was from a fresh install of TA yesterday (11/7). I'll see if it is resolved with the beta that will hopefully be coming out later today.
