It is Tuesday on the East Coast including MI now where is it j/k Oh and bye the way go pack go lions still 1 game back looking forward to turkey day !!!! Thats just for all you lions fans out there (Stardock) Turkey Day should be a good game may the best team win.

Stardock has released all the previous starting betas for games and expansions usually at the end of the work day the beta is scheduled to be out. They do this to make sure they have all the stuff worked out for a beta release so customers don't get any alpha surprises. It'd be nice if other game companies would actually have things ready for their final release of their crap. Don't count on the beta any earlier than end of work day Tuesday on the east coast of the US. However, since they have said the beta is ready and there was some sort of problem with the servers or delivery system or something maybe it will be ready sooner. But usually it is released for download at the end of their work day.

The emails are usually sent out at that time too. The agony that will be experienced of seeing the beta and not being able to download it because I won't have received my email with the key yet.

At least hold off on the drinking until the office opens

Erm... Far be it for me to put words in stardock's mouth, but i would expect the beta to be available sometime this early evening (30th). If it comes earlier, well that would be a surprise, a nice one, but i would still put my money on this evening .

Nuts. I have classes today.

If they really release it at the end of the day, I will have to stay up long, cause I live in Austria (where it's already 10:20am). But the beta is more than worthy a day without sleep. I'm glad I don't have to go to school today and tomorrow.

Thats ok....it's 20:50 Tuesday night here in Australia....i will have to wait till i wake up or sometime through the day Wednesday.

Oh well it will be worth the wait..

I'm the first one into the office...it's about 6:00 here.

We have a few tweaks to test and a bug to deal with, but I can't imagine putting this up too late...I still needs ta get me a punkin ta carve!

I look forward to when the beta appears...actually, I wouldn't normally be up THIS early on a Tuesday, but I couldn't sleep, so I decided to get up early...

I had (naively) assumed that I would just be able to log into stardock and download the beta to try as if it where a demo. Evidently I need to be on a list somewhere to get an email with a key. Does anyone have the home phone number of a nice stardock person I can ring up and pester to get me on this list. Or is there anything else I can do at this late stage??

Just actually read the home page (my bookmark goes straight to the forums) and I see you need to pre-order, where I made the quickest buy decision on a PC game in my life. I just hope I'm not too late!

Yeah, Germany here. The same 6 hours difference, only I have to work tomorrow. Thank god Thursday is a holiday.

Got my pre-order in on the 23 August and as of yet do not have the serial no yet either. I must have patience!

we are camping outside the line goes around the building and down the block. Its like the morning after thanksgiving. Just waiting to get the hottest new game. No one can wait the anticipation is mounting.

And to think all of this is for a Beta! Amazing!

Of course, some betas ALWAYS get a lot of attention, especially the way Stardock does their betas...

I look forward to trying out these new different tech trees!

I was going to put this in my next journal entry, but I guess I'll upload it now....

We're redoing a bunch of the old Improvement graphics, so this is what your new 'Basic Factory' will look like in the game.

The code team is trying to fix a saved game bug, and it looks like a update to Vista causes our startup gadget to crash, so those are being dealt with ATM.

Hopefully those won't take too long...I don't know how many more images a can leak before I get in trouble
