Yeah, well, our "smaller" map took forever blair...

And if I had time, i would have so whipped your but. Even with my partner's home planet wiped out. (I wasn't watching, I still don't know how he was stupid enough to let that happen past his habit of putting all his defenses right on the phase lane...)

Yep, games are too long for most people. We'll make them quicker independant of the map size. One thing I noticed is people choosing "Random-Small" a lot. This is small for a single player match but is way too big for a quick mulitplayer match with just 2-4 people. Be sure to use Random-Tiny or something around that size. (Close Encounters is the smallest map atm).

Random small should be at most a 90 minute game... As it is now... It takes forever in a 2v2... At least 2 hrs, and thats if people don't get tired and just drop from the game...

If you want to appeal to the rts players, that's about the limit for tiny maps in multi player.

Ok, up to 45min is ok, everything above and you need really dedicated players to be able to finish a game with all players still on board...
