Then the Advent has taken over a capital dreathnaught, and that cant be taken over.
So id say TEC has gotten some kind of secret weapon to take over those 2 beam thingys

but the Advent star-ships, asside from looking cool their beams are pointed away from what appears to be their enemy, so either they are idiots and got surrounded... or those are the engines

Then why are they the same team color as the TEC? are they now able to take control of other ships/structurs?

I totally blame lordkosc for this.

Team Colors must have been on when this shot was taken and the two factions were apparently allied. When Team Colors is on, you share the same color (this is my pet theory, but someone from Ironclad may know differently).

Yarlen is correct. Those are not TEC beam defenses and they are the same color because those two factions are allied to the guy taking the screenshots and he has team colors on.

I think its because none of us really use team colors that we were confused.
