This site goes through bandwidth and space like you wouldn't believe with all the free skins it offers. It's only fair to help give back by purchasing a subscription or a Stardock product to keep the site running. Doing either of those will give you unlimited downloads. Freeloading is bad, mmkay. And according to your profile, you aren't a customer so I'm not sure what it is you say you bought.

There has always been a stated download limit on users who are either not subscribers or not current customers.  Looking at your account, you haven't actually purchased anything from us and have no subscription to the site.

As a completely free user, you finally reached the free limit.

I agree, I have windowblinds, cursor xp and now they want to sell me wincustomize when I have been a member for many, many years, I can get free themes all over the place, why not pop-up to pay for this atleast a few I could deal with, even if they are for something other than their own products. You must be thinking of when they discussed changing the download caps - I remember it was discussed and I thought it was different too if you bought Object Desktop for $49.95 as opposed to just cursorXp for $9.95 .

But the WC Store still states "any" purchase is unlimited downloads.

I thought so too but everytime I tryed to download wallpapers it told me I needed to purchase wincustomize, well atleast it did the other day until I contacted the site and told them I purchased two different things, then suddenly it seemed alright again, computer glich maybe, I don't know but I was not a happy camper and felt like I did when I bought windowblinds after buying and owning cursor xp. I have been a member many years and it just seems like everyone gets greedy at some point and if it continues nothing will be free. T.V. used to be free, as of the end of next year you will no longer be able to use any old tv sets because of digital signals without a decoder box, I had to show my friends and article in the paper to prove it, No more local channels on the old box, that is gonna mess up a whole lot of people in this country who can't even afford a color tv, much less cable and do you think cable will get cheaper because of it, I think not. I would hate to have to purchase everything just to get a few wallpapers now and then, I love windowblinds, and cursor xp, don't get me wrong but now upgrades will cost money too. Does it not cost me to get the upgraded versions?

Ok now back to this. I think I might have been a little harsh. I do not own all the things on this site, wouldn't know how to use some of it. You never know, I might smarten up a bit and find out I can do more than I thought. Ok maybe not, but I am happy with what I have now. I still wouldn't change my membership here and paying money for this isn't a big deal. I just hope others will see it my way and purchase something here as well. Lord knows what country you are in, but TV transmissions going Digital is identical to Mobile [Cell] phones going digital [from analog].

The set-top box is simply a digital decoder to convert digital broadcast TV signals to Analog so your existing analog TV can display them.

It has nothing to do with Pay TV / Cable /Foxtel /whatever....

I do know this and was just saying, most of my friends and family have older tv's and did not believe that those tv's would not work without a converter as of next year. I don't think people really understand this. Everything from those little guys you take to the beach, like the little one with the 2" screen that is color but goes with me to anywhere I want to go and see something I don't want to miss. There are still many who don't have converters and if they don't have cable or (something) much less a converter they have to buy for an older set, they will have no T.V. Old T.V.s will not work. This is what I am told, you will no longer get the signal.
