Where did spring go?

It's getting a bit chilly

These last few weeks have been pretty nice. High 60's, low 70's. (In Farenheit, that is. :) ) Today it's around 44...and for the next 4 or 5 days that trend appears to be constant...a quick glance shows a high of 38 later this week. I thought we were pretty much done with all that wintry hooflah.

In other news, today marks exactly one month until the semester is over. I'm so ready to take a break from learning. However, I've got so much work to do it's not even remotely humorous. (I have a 3-4 page lab report due this week, a calculus paper next Wed, a 15-20 page research paper due in a few weeks, some memorybook crap to scribble down, and probably some other things that I'm forgetting) I did manage to get a new TV...so I'm not going stir crazy anymore...you never know how much you miss it 'til it's gone. :P

Well, that's about it for now...if the mood strikes me and if time permits I might actually write something worth reading...but we'll see how that turns out.

Around here we call it "the Easter spell" because we always seem to get one more blast of cold around Easter. (Kinda like rain on the forth of July)

I hear ya, Zoo!

Global Warming sucked all the warmth away.

We're gettin' some snow here in Southern Ontario over Easter weekend. Blow some of that "warmer" air up here will you? (smiles and winks)

I remember how stressful the last bit of the semester was...the end was in sight, but there were all sorts of hoops to jump through to get there.

When the semester's over remember to treat yourself with some serious chill time!

I remember one summer after the end of the semester my husband and I left the kids with my parents and spent two days at the lake, drinking, camping out, swimming, racing those little cars (what are they called), going on waterslides. It was so much fun and a great reward for all the hard work we'd put in.

I don't remember what cold feels like, btw. Haha.

I've been hit with a few flakes here today...it's nuts.

Global Warming sucked all the warmth away.

Ahh...that topic has me switching sides everyday. Sometimes it seems reasonable, then other times it's completely ridiculous....*sigh*

Well, the Columbus Zoo is visiting here today...in about an hour, so I'm going to head over to that in a little bit.
