Here's Number 2. It's the closed folder icon.
Model:
The model was created using the spline tool. I drew the outline of the folder as if it was completely opened. I then extruded it with 2 segments. Then, I converted it to an editable poly. I chamfered the side edges to give it a more curved look. Then, I used the slice plane to cut it 8 times at the fold. Finally, I used the bend tool at 180 degrees on the Z-Axis with the 8 fold edges.
Texture:
The texture is a 2 part composite material.
The base material is is a standard multi-layer.
The second layer is used to improve the reflection and gloss.
