Disappointed: no Beta invitation so far

I pre-ordered Dark Avatar some time ago but still haven't gotten an invitation to the Beta. When should I expect one, does anyone know? I'm a bit disappointed as I really wanted to participate in it as soon as possible and to help it grow the right way (how modest I am!  )

Any help would be appreciated!

What sort of invitation were you expecting? Open up SDC. Make sure the box at the bottom that says show pre-release versions is checked. Check the Games section of SDC. If you bought it a while ago you should see it as available.

We are still on the first release. No update has yet been released so if you missed the original cut you should get your invite soon. Might be prudent to check your SDC serial no's as the serial for the beta may be there (as mine was).

Hello, Sir Oren. An E-Mail should have been sent to you beginning: "Thank you for your order from Stardock". It will have your order number, and the very important serial number, as well as a link to the download site. On what date did you actually order?

And make sure the email from Stardock didn't automatically go to your Junk folder, that happened in my case and I had to correct the status for the sender.

Thanks folks, I installed SDC and after expanding the Galactic Civilizations II folder it showed "Dark Avatar (Expansion Pack). I'm installing it right now! For some reason I thought I should receive an official invitation email to the beta. I guess it's from participating in too many MMO betas!
