What is the difference between Mining Starbases & Standard Starbase?

Mining & Standard Starbase bonuses

What is the difference between my Mining Starbases & one standard Economy Starbase?

-What is shown in each of the Starbase Details-

1. Mining (Economics):+14 bonuses.

2. Mining (Weapons & Defense):+9 bonuses.

3. Mining (Research):+19 bonuses.

4. Military, Social & Research Production: +5 bonus (Standard Starbase).

What is shown in each of the Planet Details-

1. Earth shows only Production/Research with +5 bonus from the Standard Starbase nearby.

2. Mars shows only Production/Research with +5 bonus from the Standard Starbase nearby.

3. Markus I shows nothing even with a Mining Research Starbase with +19 bonuses nearby.

4. Markus II shows nothing even with a Mining Research Starbase with +19 bonuses nearby.

5. Westerfeld I shows only Production/Research with +5 bonus from the Standard Starbase nearby.

I am receiving these Mining Starbase bonuses, because it does not showing up on any details and I do not see any increases to my planets’ output. I am using version 1.4x currently.

The mining base bonuses are global to the empire. The influence area doesn't matter, while the econ bases are just planetary bonuses to anything in it's shpere of influence.

Resource mining starbases give a civ wide bonus that appears in your civilization manager under the stats & graphs tab. The total bonus for each category (economics, research, weapons and defense) is shown and the mining SB effect is added to any racial ability or ability from tech or the benefit from any wonders, trade goods, or super projects.

The economic starbase gives a bonus only to planets in the SB's area of effect (AoE) and that's what's shown in the planet details screen.

BTW you only pay 50% for both of these types of bonus. This appears under your expenses in the domestic policy screen.

Well, it's kinda funny after I posted, I was thinking "Where can you see the mining base bonuses?" So you answered a developing question I had as well.
