Lemmesee. Whatsinaname? A rose..blah-blahblah. This Post came to me because of observations I’ve noted on names of business establishments and other advertised stuff I’ve passed by which caused me to chuckle. Some of them:
“Merciful Barbershop” (Gad, I’d hate to submit myself for a trim there!)
“Mahal Kita Honey” ( translated,”I Love You Honey” – natural freshly harvested honey
sold on a Philippine roadside)
“Are you Mandom?” (“huh?!? – Japanese advertisement for an after-shave lotion)
“Sweat” (- another Japanese brand for a tonic drink – …more likely to taste salty )
“BayWash” Laundry Services (Is there a franchise on this one? I saw these in 2
countries)
“Airframe” (Michel Crichton novel dealing on solving the mystery of an airplane
disaster) –as inflight reading
I decided to come out with some of my own:
“Root Canal” ( audio-friendly title of a hit song provided by your friendly metallic band)
(it could actually be the band itself)
“Bucky Phillips” Survivor Kit (guns not included)
“Rita Cosby” throat lozenges
“French”’s Hamburger ( with pommes frites)
The “Howard Stern” Etiquette Guidebook
“Al Qaeda” dental floss ( can be used as substitute neck ligature)
aughh… before I get dark here ( I actually wanted to post a lighter blog) ,somebody help me with other lighter suggestions we all can chuckle about.
