Massive Foot Infection

 Western Medicine sucks! I have a growth on the outside of my pinko toe{named after the far left} about the size of 1/2 a golf ball

Hurts like hell too. Went to my G.P. Doctor he said "wow that's interesting" "I have no idea what it is", He called a foot Dr. while I was in room, the foot Dr. says give him massive shot of antibiotic's, ever have a massive shot of antibiotics? It is this thick stuff they shoot in your "hip" {read ass}hurts like hell, makes leg numb and puts a knot on your "hip" {read ass} the size of a small orange, Ok I am exaggerating, but not by much.

Today I got see the specialist, She says "wow that's interesting" I think "here we go again"

She has no idea what it is either, but ventures a guess, a bacterial infection that has settled in my foot.

So here I sit with orders to finish my course of antibiotics keep my foot elevated and take lots of painkillers, double my morphine to 120 milligrams extended release and 60 milligrams immediate release.

So My foot hurts like hell and I am utterly stoned.

I called My sponsor and check with him what to do, he said drug as ordered.

I thought I would share this because right about now I could use several "poor babies" many hugs and kisses from the ladies. Manly hugs but no kisses from the men.

I had to be taken to the doc yesterday as well, Elie.  They thought I was having a heart attack.

I'm so sorry that that your foot is infected and you're in pain.  Do what your sponsor and the doctor say, though.  Take the medications; they wouldn't prescribe them for you if they thought you didn't need it, and you're responsible about taking meds.  Don't worry about anything but getting better.

hope you're feeling much better quickly MM,   poor baby!  I know pain is a stinker!

the antibiotics should help get rid of an infection,  be interesting to hear what it is!!

He says urine can cure athletes foot - you have nothing to lose. I don't know. (I can't believe I'm typing this).

He's alot of fun - but if his feet are itching - I'm not taking a shower with him.

Seriously, do as the Dr ordered. Foot infections are nothing to mess with. You need those feet!

I have an infection on the inside of foot under the skin. pee ain'y gonna do nothing but turn my foot yellow. heh

Because foot hurts I walk funny now and that makes back hurt. you just cannot win sometimes.

I'm sorry that your pinko toe has gone and got itself infected. If I lived closer to you I'd come over and bring you chicken noodle soup and fluff the pillow underneath your foot. I suspect that your Colleen is taking pretty darn good care of you - she's just adorable, isn't she?

A long time ago I had a "thing" on my neck that was about the size of an egg. Scared the shit outta the doc and he sent me to more docs. For a while they thought I might have Hodgkins disease but further test said I did not and so I had surgery and they removed the thing but they still had no idea what it was.

it's gone now but it DID leave one wicked ass cool scar!

Too bad if you get a cool scar it'll be on your foot! lol...

Hope you get better, MM. I'm think about you, but then you should know that by now.

colleen is off till tuesday so she can take care of me, yes, 5 straight days with my baby, it's worth having a sore PINKO toe for that.

As far as scars go I already have a ton of cool ones, 3 bullet holes, one on elbow, one in back and one in thigh of right leg. 4 knife wounds 2 stabs and 2 cuts.

Lots of scar tissue around eyebrows from years of brawling. need I go on?

Elie, I meant to tell you this on da phone but forgot. But here goes. My mom use to use this thing when ever we had any kind of swelling, whether it be from a sprain ankle, an infection in the toe or what have you. She used it on me when I was a kid on an abscess I had in my knee, one whre I should have gone to the drs to have drained but lack of $$ and insurance she did what she knew best. Its using the fat of a piece of salt pork, You know that think part of fat on the back of salt pork?? You cut the fat off of salt pork and put it on your foot and wrap it with a towel and leave over night or how ever long as you can. By the next day or actually within hours whatever infection you have or sweling goes away. It works Elie it really does. OK NOw stop laughing. I used it on klesey one time when she had an infected toe. It may be worth a try. It won't harm you at all. You may wake up oinking tomorrow though :}}}
