Just curious if any of you write articles that only you or a select group can view. Why or why not?

Yes, I do. I've had too many anon trolls come and be obnoxious or irrelevant, so now I make all my articles open to response only if the person has a JU ID. It takes 30 seconds to create one, and I figure that if they're that intent of being heard and leaving a comment they won't mind creating themselves an account. Some of the things the trolls have said have been really pretty nasty - I can handle a few digs and disses here and there, but these people were taking shots at my children and my family. To me, they crossed the line with that.

I wouldn't know who to limit my audience to... If I'm going to write on JU, it's going to be to whomever wants to read it. I'm not particularly close with anyone on here, though I do enjoy some writers more than others... I want to encourage all readers.

Well I don't block my bloggs to anyone, yet somehow it seems as if i only let a few reply since only a few of the usual suspects do.
It's hard to get more than 6 replies on any of my articles.
But I won't give up.

Some of my posts are open to all to reply, I think all but one article is open to all to read.

Some of my blogs have been made private or no-comment. I've only ever done it when there's been ads added or the blog itself was time-specific. I think it's only been a couple so far.

Do you mean "limited audiences" in the sense of only writing for a few folks, or do you mean "limited audiences" in the sense of writing for people who are, in fact, limited in some way.
Because to the former, nope. To the latter? Well, there are a lot of limited folks out there. They're welcome to read my stuff, to, though, I don't tend to blacklist.
