I'm slowly adapting to the lovely shipboard life. Only 3 berthing floodings so far!! Lucky me living in the berthing at the back end of the system, and when we have GQ drills and people forget to reset a valve or two afterwards, we weep the rewards!! Record water level so far is 6inches in the Head, and 3 inches in the main berthing area!! Fun shit I tell ya... and had to be on MY duty night too so I had to clean it up...


Other than that though I can't complain too much.. they feed me.. work me hard.. long or short hours depending... Always know what I'm going to wear every day...

My Bonus just came too!! I can go buy a car soon =) Won't have to walk or ride the bus everywhere now =)

Shipboard life isn't too bad. Glad you're adjusting. Of course I was on a carrier so it was a tad roomier, but otherwise it's not such a bad life. Just wait until you get to hit some ports, that's when the real fun starts.

Uhm.. I've actually only once in my life had a steak that I didn't grill myself.. and that was a Lonestar steakhouse steak...

I might be up for that though, assuming you'd allow it to happen on weekends since my only real free time for a while will be weekends.. LoL (pisses my GF off that they don't give me more leave time)
