What does advantage in the defs.cfg do? Does it make it easier, the higher it gets?

JUst curious. Sounds useful though.

Um, also, after landing on several planets, i have yet to see a planet event pop up, other than one on Earth about the boil plague, and the undead one. I love the undead one. hehe.

So, why haven't the planet events popped up, am I doing something wrong, or am I just unlucky?

Just curious about all of it.

David, who can't wiat to have the game shipped to him by march 28th..heh. At least then, I"ll be able to see all the cut-scenes and movies...

ummmm...the defs.cfg file has nothing to do with Gal Civ.

Planet events are random. Sometimes you get more than others.

Do'h! I meant the Prefs.ini. Dangit!

Now, I know that has something to do with it.

The advantage setting in the prefs.ini doesn't do anything anymore. It used to change the number of points you had to use during game setup to determine your abilities, but was hardcoded to 10 (the old 'Cakewalk' setting) a bew betas ago.
