Title Bar and Border Going to Center of Screen

Not sure on this one, I haven't changed anything but all of a sudden when dialog boxes open in any programs. IE, Winamp, Word Pick one. The titlebar and window border appear in the center of the screen while the actual window may be anywhere else but there. I believe I do, yes. However I think some of my monitor spanning settings rely on it to function properly. Is this common with Nview?

Nview has been known to cause problems with a number of applications.

I suspect if you disable it the problem will go away.

What features are you using from nview?  The OS handles 2 monitors at once without nview running.

Without NVIEW Windows wants to stretch the taskbar across both monitors which I don't like. Also I have different output profiles set up so that I can output to my TV or two other workstations. Without NVIEW I lose these important features. Its wierd though, I hadn't updated any drivers or anything and this just started all of a sudden.

If your taskbar is stretching over 2 monitors without nview then your nvidia driver settings are incorrect.

You should see 2 monitors in display properties and be able to set the resolution of each.  If you see one then the drivers are pretending you only have 1 monitor and nview is needed to prevent maximized windows from filling both.  There will be a setting to change this somewhere in the drivers.

I was making several assumptions earlier because I wasn't actually at the computer with the problem. At any rate I tried disabling NVIEW and my taskbar stayed on the one monitor. In addition the problems I was having were solved, I suppose I can live out the goofy profiles. Thanks for the hints. I appreciate it.
