Favourite cartoon characters?

I've watched a ridiculous amount of television today. Old shows from years ago. One of them was the show 'Mad about you' with Helen Hunt and Paul Reiser. I do remember watching that years ago, but it has been a while. Anyway there was a discussion in the show about attractive cartoon characters. The winner was Betty from the flinstones. Ha, so this is attractive?

There was another option......

I wonder why that one is huh!

So JU, I what are your favourite cartoon characters? It can be ones that you find attractive, or just ones you like. From past or present. Pictures would also be good ;). I will start us off.....

I think it was their voices that I liked, hehe! They just always made me laugh, and no matter how different they all were, they still got along. So now your turn :)

I'd have a tuff time deciding between "Rocky and Bullwinkel"  and Looney Tunes characters like

Daffy Duck and Tom and Jerry!

Most attractive: Judy Jetson

Tom and Jerry were not Looney Tunes.

Not a question!  Bugs Bunny!  Nothing attractive, but he was cool before the Fonz!

I dont think cartoons are sexy, just real people (Icon excluded - no offense intended!)

I love Spongebob. He is too funny. This is a regular game at our house. Whenever the kids are driving me crazy I tell them to go to the Krusty Krab and make me a crabby patty and they leave me alone for at least five minutes.

Spongebob, of course, but I'm old school.....Scooby Doo and the gang. The old, original cartoons, the ones that started in 1969, before Scrappy-Doo (even as a kid, I wanted to kick him in the face) came along and started the slide. Forget the newer versions; they're just not the same.

The Looney Tunes, of course; Super Friends---out of these, though, Batman was my favorite.
Archie and Veronica and their gang (anyone remember "US of Archie?"---it was a cartoon that ran before and during our Bicentennial year).
How about "Hong Kong Fooey"?

I'm from a younger age than many of those who have posted here . . . and I'm afraid it's going to show.

I love the Looney Tunes, but I was raised on the Tiny Tunes (in which Bugs made the occasional appearance). But of the Looney Tunes, I always loved the roadrunner. (Plus, it was my state bird when I was in New Mexico.)

I loved the Animaniacs, too. They were just so manic and weird. I can still remember (often at the least opportune times) Wakko searching town for an open toilet, bellowing in his oddly British accent "Potty Emergency!"

Except the Gremlin in "Falling Hare."

Yes I have to say that Bugs Bunny is a classic! You can't beat the characters that are always one step ahead of the stupid bad guy, hehe!

Yes same here! Haha...I'd forgot all about them!

Psst!  You could have said Road Runner and no one would have guessed you were so young.

I grew up loving Heckle and Jeckle, Woody Woodpecker, Bugs (of course), Roadrunner & Wile E Coyote, Chip & Dale, and super heros like Batman, Spiderman, Ironman, Superman, Green Lantern and The Flash. These days, I'm more into The Simpsons, Family Guy and the Mr. Hell Show. Ren & Stimpy (the first season) were really funny but became homogenized when the original artist was hobbled and couldn't do what he wanted.

While I'm with Doc in as much as I don't find cartoons attractive, for the sake of the exercise I'll say Batgirl or Wonder Woman.

No question about it...Betty Boop!

The Hanna-Barbera characters: Yogi Bear, Huckleberry Hound, Augie Doggie and Doggie Daddy, Quick Draw McGraw (El Kabong).

Sorry....I got sidetracked in my response....my sexiest cartoon character would have to be Jessica Rabbit, hands down. I have a VHS tape of "Honey I Shrunk the Kids", and it has a Baby Herman cartoon on it. Jessica plays a nurse....VAVAVA-VOOM! If she'd been a real woman, geesh!

"I'm not bad, I'm just drawn that way."----Jessica Rabbit

Would it be very sad of me to admit that I do have a small crush on superman? I personally blame smallville.......

Ahh I was wondering when someone was going to mention The Simpsons! I agree that these are great shows, though I find some of them get a little tedious, maybe that's just me! In my opinion you can't beat the old classics, hehe!

Ahhh Betty Boop would give Jessie Rabbit a run for her money (I don't mean it rightwinger!)

Oh my gosh, I'd forgot all about these! *walk away singing yogi yogiiiiiii bear to herself*

Hehe! She'd give Lara Croft a run for her money in the sexy curves category!
